[RECIPIENT’S NAME],

Republicans in Congress have been trying for years to get rid of the Affordable Care Act and take quality, affordable health care away from millions of Americans. Last year, they worked hand in hand with the Trump administration to sabotage the ACA, and used their tax bill to rip health care away from 13 million Americans and raise premiums for millions more.

We cannot — and will not — let them get away with this.

That’s why the Health Care Voter campaign is getting one million voters in 2018 to commit to holding the GOP accountable for their attacks on our health care. I’ve taken the Health Care Voter pledge, and you should too.

If health care is important to you, add your name at HealthCareVoter.org today and pledge to hold your elected officials accountable this year.

While Republicans haven’t yet been able to repeal the ACA outright, they’ve done everything they can to steadily chip away at it — and we know they won’t quit anytime soon.

But we won’t let them get away with it.

In the coming months, we’re going to make our voices heard and show our representatives that we’re not going anywhere. We’re going to tell them the stories of our friends and loved ones who rely on affordable health care. And we’re going to make sure we show up at the polls and hold them accountable.

Right now, join me and so many other Americans who are fighting for our health care — add your name today at HealthCareVoter.org.

Thanks for fighting with us — we can’t do it without you.

Share Your Story

Millions of Americans will lose their health care thanks to the efforts of Republicans in Congress—and their stories need to be heard. If you have a story to tell about how important health care is to you, here’s how you can share it:

Social media: Write a Facebook post or a series of tweets about your own health care story, and post it publicly so more people can see it. Make sure to use the hashtag #HealthCareVoter so we can also find it and share it from our own channels.

Video: It’s also easy to record and share a quick video about what health care means to you—it only takes a few minutes. Here’s how:

  1. Record a video on your smartphone, computer, or tablet.
  2. In the video, tell your personal health care story (“Health care is important to me because XYZ…”). You can keep it short and simple.
  3. Upload your video to Facebook, and make the post “Public” (in the “Who should see this?” drop-down menu at the very bottom of the post).
  4. In the caption for your post, add the hashtag #HealthCareVoter so we can find it and share it far and wide.
  5. Publish the post!
