In a democracy, the voters decide who will represent us. We have held successful elections through the 1918 pandemic, the Great Depression, and two World Wars. We can do it now.

The successful and peaceful transfer of power depends on level-headed leadership prevailing over partisan fighting. This is a time for accuracy and honesty. Not politics.

Here’s what our elected officials are doing:

  • Making sure every vote counts
  • Offering transparency — clearly communicating the vote counting plan, and sticking to it
  • Following the laws related to handling ballot discrepancies

Our leaders are elected to do the work of the people. And now, we’re counting on them to do their jobs. Our democracy depends on it.
